The Beekeeper's Apprentice

The Beekeeper’s Apprentice

Laurie R. King has penned (well, most likely she wrote them on her computer) over 30 books. I had read a couple of her books before coming across The Beekeepers Apprentice by happenstance in the library. I picked up the book, checked it out and read it. And began a great adventure. My lovely lady, Denise, and I are currently listening to the third book in the series, A Letter of Mary.

There are 15 Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes books as of today and, I hope, many more to come. She has also written many other books as well. Click on the book cover to read a review of the book by Anastasia Klimchynskaya which was published by the Seattle PI.

Do yourself a huge favor and read this book… and the books that follow. Go on, I dare you.

The video below provides some images as an accompaniment to the opening lines of the book. Watch it. Listen. Begin your adventure.
